A number of medium sized voluntary sector providers operating in the north of England have come together under the umbrella The Adsetts Partnership (TAP). Member organisations are drawn from a range of sectors - social care, health care, education, employment, BME. They are all specialists in their field; all members will deliver cohesive, holistic services without losing the benefits of each individual organisation’s specialism and their relationship with those they support. All members have a unique offering - where two prospective members have a similar range of provision The Adsetts Partnership will ensure that they are differentiated either by geographical spread or by a unique offering not provided by the other prospective member before accepting their membership. The Adsetts Partnership is a not-for-profit company. Our unique group structure offers benefits to all member organisations whilst retaining their autonomy and individual specialism, indeed it offers the chance to develop your offering in partnership with like-minded providers. There are two levels of membership; full or associate. “The Adsetts Partnership offers members an opportunity in a time of uncertainty in the third sector” Sir Norman Adsetts OBE Why The Adsetts PartnershipThe voluntary sector is facing difficult times. With over 60% of charity income now derived from contracts, in the current climate of finance cuts and rationalisations our sector needs to respond proactively to protect the vulnerable or disadvantaged groups we work with. Commissioners at both national and a local level want to contract with single providers. The silo approach, whilst ensuring the needs of our service user groups are better met, is not acceptable to commissioners. The Adsetts Partnership offers the best option - a one-stop-shop provider which has all of the particular specialism required to give our service users the best possible provision. The Adsetts Partnership draws together collaborations of different members depending on the nature of the delivery contract. Their bidding team works with each member to ensure the best possible delivery model for the contract. In addition, The Adsetts Partnership offer s cost efficiencies through the provision of optional centralised services, leaving each member to concentrate on what they do best. “By bringing the different organisations together under one umbrella partnership, we can deliver larger contracts whilst retaining the close relationship of the individual charities with service user groups” Philip Bartey, Group Chief Executive Benefits of being a member of The Adsetts Partnership
